Edward J. Funkuncle (Snr)
The Funkuncle Diaries.
I first met Edward J.Funkuncle (Snr.) in 2001, London, England.
Originally hailing from the Bronx, New York, Edward Funkuncle is a Vietnam veteran, writer and artist.
Mr Funkuncle fascinated me from the first meeting and I soon became his faithful assistant, transcribing what was to become the ‘Funkuncle Diaries’.

In 2002, I began to transfer his stories, drawings, musings, and philosophies into a simple website - Chapter one of original 2002 html website - (keep in mind this was well before YouTube and social media existed). The site was minimalist and utilised simple ‘roll over’ buttons to create primitive animations of his drawings and photographs and text. There were no instructions - one clickable pic led to the next, sometimes revealing unexpected 'easter eggs' (though they weren't called easter eggs yet).

Only later would I meet his three sons; Calvin, Henry, and, finally, Edward Jnr: the film director and singer featured on this website.

Dynasty
Edward J. Funkuncle (Snr.), born 1948, is the father three sons:
Henry, a successful blues musician, Calvin, an entrepreneur and owner of CFC Corporation, and Edward (Jr), a film director, musician and singer, who's works are featured on this website.

Calvin Funkuncle
Edward's eldest son, Calvin Funkuncle is the owner of CFC (Calvin Funkuncle Corporation).

With interests in Media, Technology, Agriculture, Finance, Pharmaceuticals and Soft Pornography, CFC strives to exploit natural resources in a 'holistic' way whilst maintaining a low impact to environmental 'optics'. Funkuncle Investment & Finance Division identifies long-term investment opportunities in science, agriculture and the technology sector. CFC’s pharmaceutical branch was one time manufacturer of the controversial ‘wonder drug’, Asmov 15.
Calvin lives between the USA, UK and Australia.

Based in Melbourne Australia.
Henry. P. Funkuncle
Henry P. Funkuncle is an Australian Blues Musician.
​
His music runs from Roots, Blues & Folk to Fire-and-Brimstone-Heavy-Rock. His part time band, The Sweet Jesus is a ramshackle group and of friends and rascals.
A free spirit, he spends the majority of his time in Darwin, Australia. Current whereabouts unknown.
