Funkuncle is a Melbourne-based band + film project led by musician and film director, Edward J. Funkuncle (Jnr).

They write quirky new-old-wave, alt rock, songs echoing retro styles like Talking Heads, Television, Devo, The Cars, and Gary Numan, with big-beat electronic elements of the 1990s / 2000s and more classic, art-rock influences like David Bowie, Frank Zappa and The Kinks.

Edward. J. Funkuncle also directs music promos and film projects blurring the lines between traditional film making and cutting edge A.I. shenanigans.
